Designed to Sue’s custom specs, this set brings out the warmth and flavor of a Tele® while offering sustain and balance for leads and melodies.
Made with Alnico III magnets the sustain on this set is heightened and perfect for incredible blues leads. The neck pickup is wound to 5.8k to add a perfect balance of traditional Tele® tones with a nice touch of mid range to provide drive and flavor! The bridge is calibrated and balanced at 6.3k. Punchy, yet with more drive than a standard ’50s Tele® to yield a balance of high end with a very tightly seasoned low end. The set is smooth yet vibrant and perfect for Sue’s articulate and passionate blues work.
