At Planet Tone, we are committed to and value quality. We stand behind our products and your satisfaction is our satisfaction.
Each pickup is tested 6 to 8 times - minimum - before leaving the shop. If your pickup arrives and is for some reason not working properly, simply send it back and we will look at it. Often times it is either a simple fix or nothing at all. Electronics are not perfect and there is a wide variety of reasons why something would not work.
Please Note: Planet Tone will not accept a return if we determine the pickup has been abused, altered or modified in any way. The warranty is no longer valid and is void if there have been any physical modifications to the pickup, such as altering or cutting the original wire set-up or leads, removing or peeling back the protective tape from the pickup, unscrewing the bobbins or working on or modifying or damaging the bottom plate in any way. Any DOA or factory-defective product will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. If it is how you received it, it is safe to send back.
Test the pickups before install if possible and always use caution when installing them.
OEM Plane Tone pickups sold from a guitar builder or manufacturer as "stock" do not qualify for warranty.
How to Return Your Pickup:
1. Email Planet Tone and Request an RMA number
2. Package the pickup safely with the RMA written on the outside of the package.
3. Include the original receipt with RMA written on it
4. Ship your pickups with tracking to:
