Looking for the classic late 80s and early 90s tone that Slash made famous? This set is our version and tribute to that great tone. Slightly thicker neck tone combined with the perfect balance of bite and power at the bridge, all made with Alnico II magnets.
The neck features an output of 8.25 to 8.35K, slightly hotter than our standard 1959 to give a pinch more mid range balance. The neck is clear, has lots of sustain and great chime.
The bridge features an output of approximately 8.8-9.0K, which slightly less in output than our 1959 set offering this set a little more bite and punchiiness to the bottom end.
In the notch position, you get a beautiful combo tone, great for rock, blues and so much more!
