Real P-90 tone

This is my 2nd set of Custom Bad Axe HB-sized P90 pickups. These are in a semi-hollow body koa top guitar with set neck & sing beautifully. The koa top really brings out the upper register notes with unparallelled clarity & distinction. Super sweet & responsive to technique.

So clear and clean!

I'm not really a fan of a humbucker in the neck of a Les Paul because it's always sounded so muddy to me. So putting this "P-90" there really cleared things up. It almost goes into Strat teritory! Heck I may even get another one for the bridge postition!

Exactly what I was looking for!

I wanted something for my D'Angelico Premier DC that was between a humbucker and a single coil sound, so I thought I'd try a set of these. Per Jose's recommendation I got the Alnico II for the bridge and the Alnico V for the neck. I absolutely love 'em!
