I have these installed in a Warmoth Z guitar with Kahler trem... 2 push-pull volumes (coil split), 1 tone, and 3-way toggle. (500k CTS pots, Orange Drop cap .22, Switchcraft toggle & output jack) Clean sounds are pristine and articulate with a nice touch of warmth. When split, they sound more open and punchy but I really haven't noticed any real volume drop like I have with other brand pickups and that's a big plus. Combining split and/or humbucker tones, you can get some nice tele and strat-like tones that are very useable, along with modern/classic clean gibby type tones. Overdriven or distortion sounds is where the harmonics really come alive with these pickups. Very versatile with good string definition... Plenty of "chug" to go around and they clean up well when the volume is rolled back. Overall, if you're looking for something different than A5 magnet pickups, these are a great choice for various styles. The sustain is smooth and prominent with these Poundcake pickups.
I recommend this product
Very dynamic pickups, both clean and dirty.
