The Full Throttle Humbucker gives you all you need and more… Designed for the guitarist who likes their humbucker with a touch of extra mids to provide a full, big, meaty and robust tone. Thick yet rich. Meaty yet flavorful. Seasoned with mids but balanced and not muddy.

Perfect for the player who doesn’t want their humbucker to be bright and thin but rather full and dynamic.

Pickup is moderately hotter and is perfect for applications where a thicker or stronger presence of tone is desired. Great to help with cutting through the mix.

Great for all styles of music including blues, rock, heavy rock, punk and metal.

The pickups come with adjustable pole pieces and 2 or 4 conductor leads.

    Update 9-7-2020

I had my guitar tech at Guitar wishes in Linconton NC install new pot's 50's style and brother what a game changer! It's like I am playing a high end Gibson. The new sound is articulate, clear and has that secret sauce :) Find out what the secret sauce is by purchasing your own set and get ready to experience a whole nother level of sound!

Awesome hot rodded PAF style pickup for a great price!

As with many things that appear maybe to be too good to be true, my initial sentiment was precisely that with respect to this pickup. I've tried many, many different pickups over the past decade..and I've learned allot about what I like, and dislike. In the end I decided that I like the sound of Alnico 5 magnets with an output of around 11-13kO. Ceramic magnets to me just are too cold sounding. Alnico 2s are too thin sounding, A4s are better, but don't quite have the stones I need, A8s are too strong... The A5 is perfect. However, just because the pickups meet those specs I desire, it doesn't nessecerily mean I will like it. There is obviously more to making pickups then just the employment of a specific magnet and output. I have tried scores of all the other brands, the obvious ones..some cheaper, and some costing 3X as much. This pickup just has the right voicing..vintage Gibson sounding but with some guts. I placed this in a 2001 Gibson V98..wow..what a sound! Think Scorpions Blackout era. Nails it! Clarity, warmth, punch and grind. It really does it all. I just purchased a 2006 Gibson Explorer.. I also just purchased another Full Throttle pickup for the bridge in this new guitar.

    really pleased

looks great, installs as expected, and sounds fantastic. i replaced a gibson '57 classic in the neck position of my SG with a planet tone full throttle, and i couldn't be happier. i have paid twice as much for pickups that don't sound this good.
