Much like the Aggressor, this pickup is designed for those who thirst for power! However, we’ve added just a couple more winds and a double Allen pole piece to enrich the top end and magnetic field. The result and even bigger and richer pickup!

The Defiance humbucker offers a tasty mid range, and big bottom end for high power, high gain tone. Perfect for heavy styles of music including shred and metal.

Excellent pickups for high gain

Excellent! The pickups were easy to install. They sound fantastic! Very rich thick tone. Very versatile for different types of music.

Wow!

Decided I wanted to replace a paf type humbucker with something a little hotter but retain the clarity and this defiance humbucker really fits the bill! I can hear all of the notes clearly, it's tight and as hot as I needed it to be. Now I just need to get the neck version to make it a proper set. Very satisfied.

Best high output pickup I've ever used!

Great pickup and easily the best high output pickup I've used in 25yrs. If now got 2 guitars loaded with the Defiance amongst other PT equipped guitars, awaiting 2 more deliveries and now about to order a HSP90 set......best pickups ever!
