Venus Isle Pickup for Strat®
Handmade in the USA to order!!
Sweet Handcrafted EJ Tone!
Singles are $44.95 each or Calibrated Sets for $124.95
Clear. Articulate. Dynamic. Chime. Punch. Creamy. Those are some of the words that describe this tribute set. Think Cliffs of Dover. Quintessential Strat® tone for some. If that's you, then you'll love this set.
Designed to provide a useful tone for all 3 positions. The neck offers Alnico 3 magnets wound for that perfect vintage tone, just like the tone of a 1954 in many respects. Lovely chime, never muddy and extremely dynamic.
The middle is a great tone to offer a balance between the neck and middle. Hotter than a typical vintage pickup, yet the Alnico III magnets offer a unyielding sustain and smoothness.
The bridge is a nice hard driving pup with a great mid range balance. Using Alnico 5 magnets, this pickup provides a sweet lead tone that can chime or turn creamy with your favorite overdrive settings.
A thoroughly professional set for the guitar aficionado and pro musician alike. Great for all styles of play: blues, rock, country, jazz, and more!

Good Pickup
Great sounding bridge pickup. Definitely get some EJ vibes from it. Cleans are crisp and warm. Handles OD and distortion well. For the price you can’t go wrong. I will most likely be picking up the neck and middle version of this pickup at some point.
Venus Isle , Take Me Away
Sweet Smooth Tones. Exactly what I was hoping for. These were my first purchase from Planet Tone. 69 VooDoo's definitely next.
Five stars again
My first non-humbucker order from PT; first single-coil order. The Venus Isle set is perfect classic Strat and maybe better. Perfect ouput balace across the three, beautiful balance of lows, mids, and highs on all of them. Have played '61, '63, '65 and '68 Strats extensively and the build guitar these just went into equals or exceeds all of them for tone. It was meant to be a 3rd or 4th backup guitar and now it's hard to put down. Too much fun. Tone good enough to eat.
