Wound for power blues with a bridge like no other!

Current Lead Times
Our hottest and most versatile set capturing the essence of many genres of music including psychedelic blues and modern rock. This set delivers a fat yet clear tone. More mid range, slightly bigger bottom end and a bridge that will knock your socks off.
The Neck starts at 6.5k which means more mid range and a fat Strat® sound. The middle, reverse wound/reverse polarity (rw/rp) has an output of about 6.75k to calibrate the neck and provide a true robust tone here which makes it quite usable. The bridge is wound to about 13k, nice and hot but super clear in tone with warmth that is unprecedented. The 43 awg used at the bridge gives it a hot, big yet sparkling clear tone that can only be experienced.

DG bridge pickup always delivers
I have bought a couple of these now and they work well with Fender Custom Shop pickups to spice up the bridge position nicely.

Couldn't put my Guitar down!!
Whoa! That's all I can say, Whoa. I'm a 50 year seasoned Musician, seen that, done that. These DG's play as described. Excited. Calling all my music associates and Luthiers.

Gilmour Tone For Sure
I’ve got the 69 Voodoo Pickups, the DG set, a 60’s PAF, and my friend bought two other sets when he heard the change in my guitar. These pickups allow the guitar to breathe a bit more, and make it sound more expensive. The bridge pickup is meaty, with the highs still maintained. They’re crunchy, but smooth, and very articulate. Clarity is there, and they have that musical tone in the magnets. I had Chinese ‘hand made alnico’ pickups, and these bough a new quality to the sound, and made it sound way better than I expected. The care and consistency taken in construction puts Planet Tone in the same league as Seymour Duncan, and I actually prefer these pickups over SD. There’s enough spectrum in choice, and if you can’t find your tone here, you won’t find it anywhere. Once you’ve tried Planet Tone, the rest can go home. I’d also like to see a 70’s staggered set, like a 70-74 era Strat. Rock on.
