I ordered 2 humbuckers, a 1959 Special and a Session Pro IV. Not only were they built and shipped 2 weeks earlier than the expected lead time, but they are exactly what I ordered and they sound fantastic. Exactly what I needed to tame the harsh high end on my Les Paul. I can't recommend Planet Tone enough! You won't be disappointed!

I've been playing guitar for 38 years and have used SD pickups throughout that time. About 5 years ago i discovered A4 magnets and instantly became a fan. I've owned three sets of A4 based pickups since, and have found them to be "perfect" for me. I could search the english lexicon for every accurate descriptive word to somehow elaborate on what they sound like; to me, and what it is that i like so much about them but, i think it's easier, and reasonably accurate if i just sum up by saying: they sound and feel, to me, like a P90 incognito as a humbucker. So much clarity and articulation. With the last A4 sets, that was all true but, i would've liked a little "more". With the Planet Tone Session Pro IV set, i have just the right amount of "more", in just the right ways. If i ever buy another guitar, PT SP4 pickups will be my first choice without hesitation ! Only complaint ? I had read past reviews where it was mentioned that pickups were received with a T-shirt. Now i realize that from a business perspective, T-shirt's might not be the most cost effective approach but, how about a sticker that i could proudly display ? Thank you, Jose !���
