Designed to Matheus' personal custom specs, we designed this set in collaboration with Mr. Canteri to meet his super talented yet demanding playing style. Unlike so many, Matheus can shine in almost any environment - from mind boggling chickin' pickin' to the most soulful jazz, blues or rock riffs and leads. Matheus is the next generation of Nashville players!

Matheus wanted something that had a nice poppy EQ and captured the flavor of early Esquire or Lap Steel models. The bridge is made with Alinco 3 magnets and wound to yield the tones that Leo had in the early days...tone made famous by so many gracing Nashville with their talents. The pickup has lots of dynamics, punch, pop, vibrancy and super smooth sustain. 

For the neck, Matheus likes something with a nice EQ of mids to bring out the lush and fatter jazzy tone. This pickups has amazing clarity, and dynamics and can go from super clean to super cream - just the way Matheus like it.
